Went to a flea/antique market last night at the fair grounds. Great junk everywhere! And of course the people watching was top-notch. My phone was going dead (damn you google maps!), but I did manage to snap a few pics.
I did the whole macrame thing when I was a kid. Many a plant hanger and bracelet were made so I can really appreciate the fine craftmanship that is apparent in this monstrosity!
I was never into Barbie. And this smug look on her face while she sits there knowing damn well that her head pops back and spits out giant candy is part of the reason.
I love old suitcases. Not to actually use for a trip. That would be insanity. Just to look at.
This was the most dangerous thing we saw. Sure there were rusty machetes and knives laying everywhere that we could have snatched up and chased each other around with, but this was an entire booth of identical white cans all with different stuff in them. Disinfectant, window cleaner, insecticide, tile cleaner etc all in cans that look exactly the same. What could go wrong?
I wish I had a bigger house. I would have artful stagings of old chairs and suitcases.
I think if you are going to try to sell animal heads you should at least take a minute to present them from their best angle.
Didn’t buy anything this time. And I think we might have soaked up so much flea flavor on this excursion that it may be a while before we go back. So until next time table of animal heads. I hope someone took pity on you and straitened you out!
